MAVEX Account Policy
Password Policy
Password must:
- be at least 10 characters long
- contain characters from three of the following four categories:
- English uppercase characters (A through Z)
- English lowercase characters (a through z)
- Base 10 digits (0 through 9)
- Non-alphabetic characters (for example, !, $, #, %)
- not contain the user's account name
or
parts of the user's full name that exceed two consecutive characters
(for example, password for "George Smith" cannot contain "eor") - not be the same as the last 20 passwords
Password complexity requirements (above) are enforced
when passwords are changed or created.
Account is locked after 4 wrong password attempts for 15 mins
